This 1968 bronco has been in my family for around 18 years. My dad ended up buying it pretty much stock besides the 351w that the past owner installed. He ended up doing a lot to it, lift kit, half cab, wheels and tires , added a bench seat and much more. The bronco is pretty basic maunal steering, 351w under the hood with the iconic np435, my dad upgrade the old Dana 30 to a narrow high pinion dana 44. For most of my life the bronco lived in the arena, where we would harrow the arena so my mom could ride her horse. It never really left that area. My dad ended up selling it to my uncle in 2014 to purchase his dream truck. My uncle drove it around for around two years, before parking it and taking it apart. He wanted to fix all the holes in the doors. So he ended up getting one door all welded up and bondo the door. But stopped there. It then ended up sitting under a tarp outside next to a storage shed for around 8 years. I always bugged him to sell it to me. But his answer ways always a kind no. But last week I got the call saying it time to let it go. I ended up getting it purchased from him and brought it back home to be put back to use. Now it will need some work, new gas, oil, and probably many more things. I’ll have to address the now sanded door and couple other mismatch body panel. But in the end, it good to finally have it back. Last 4 photos are how it used to look back it 2010-2014ish before being sold.

Saturday/Sunday we got the old stock tank remove, and then installed this 23 gallon tank. Had to make are own tank strap. The exhaust had to get cut to install the new tank. So add that to the list of things to do. Dad ran new fuel lines and changed the oil and installed a new fuel filter. After all that we were able to start it and drive it around the driveway.

Started to polish the bronco. Got some of the grill and the passenger side fender mostly polished. The freshly painted parts might be kinda close in color.
