The wife just got a 2024 Wildtrak and she loves it. What octane gas are you guys putting in yours? We have filled up twice and put 91 in it, does it matter? Am I gaining anything over 87? Thanks.

Documented small HP gain, but it's not felt imo. No change in mpg on our 22' 2D Badlands with sasq 2.7l from one octane to the other.

I have used both on in the three 2.7 motors I have had in the new broncos. There may be a slight hp seat of the pants increase with the 91, but not enough to justify it all time. It typically go back and forth, one tank 87 the next 91. I dont let my tanks get real low so it kind of averages out.

For what ever reason I seem to be getting slightly better MPG with my 24 badlands SAS then the two other broncos I had with the 2.7. Right around 17-18 mpg if I keep it around 65-70 on the highway I can squeak out 19 on longer trips.

Good to know, we only have 835 miles on it now and the computer is saying 16.1 Avg. MPG. We are taking it up to the snow Presidents Day weekend and will be the first long trip we have taken in it.

We just use the 87. 57k miles now. 19.3mpg average in the warm months, 18.5mph in the cold months. It's my wife's daily driver, about 60% highway driving.

We run the 87 all the time and get about 20.5 mpg in my wife's 22' 2-door Outer Banks with 4.27 gears, 33" tires. Might even get a little better but my wife has a lead foot.
