Ok guys. Got the 408 stroker fired up today. Runs like a top. However terrible rattle from C4 tranny. It appears torque converter is loose. See attached photo.
Is there a nut of some sort that goes on that stud. It seems to be what’s loose . All for studs seem to be rattle point. I am not a mechanic. But can someone here tell me if there is a nut of some sort that was missed here to tighten the torque converter down. Please help. Thanks, Jeff

Never mind. Figured it out. Dip stick that put the tranny on the motor ran those studs thru the wrong hole. Gotta pull the tranny loose and hope studs are not damaged and get them in right hole. Arrrgh!

That would do it, could chase the threads with a 3/8-24 die to clean them up. Make sure you have the correct flanged head metal lock nuts.
