So, i was just replacing the bearings on my dana 20 transfer case rear output shaft and discovered it had sheered. I want to grab a used one(just the shaft) at the junk yard but i don't know what other fords had the same transfer case. I could always just crawl under the trucks at the junkyard...

so do you think i should remove the entire third member? Or, should i just start my inspection with the ring and pinion since thats all that i removed before?? luckily i just recieved my shop manual (and discovered this site)from bronco graveyard and am feeling a little more confident about all...

checked the flasher and it's still not working, and the brake light switch is working correctly at the switch. guess this means it's time to break out the meter and find the break between the pedal and the fixture. Thanks for the help.

So here is the deal, i recently removed the ring and pinion on my ford 9" to replace the crush washer. After reinstalling(and filling with fluid) i get a hollow whine as the rearend heats up and i put it in neutral and coast. I am thinking about removing the entire third member to have a look...

Brake lights and turnsignals don't workon my 1970. I've checked the fuseses in the glovebox, checked the bulbs, replaced the switch in the column as well as the one at the pedal.... What gives?? I'm wondering if anyone has run into this same problem and fixed it without replacing the whole...

I have a soft top coming for my 1970 bronco and can no longer store my hard top. Seals are all good and back latch as well as the arms that hold it open are all operational and in good shape. will deliver within reason and have pictures upon request.
