What trail door mirrors are yall using?

https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/5in_Round_Convex_Side_Mirror_Attachment_Clamp/rollbar-mirrors-bronco Had one of these on my old cage. Worked great and kept me legal. Will use the same one if it fits my new cage

    Bed liner

I used the raptor liner and had a professional painter spray it in. Not sure how good a job he did with the prep, but I had a lot of areas particularly around the firewall and transmission tunnel that flaked out. The rest has help up really well, so not sure if it’s a prep issue or a heat issue...

New Bumpers - Powder Coat or Custom Paint?

Depends on if your wheeling it. I was considering powder coating my new bumper. After talking to someone, I’m going to go with steel it. Mine will get banged in the rocks, so the coating will be getting chipped up. Steel it comes in a rattle can, so will be an easy fix when I hit.

    Super 60's

Sorry I should have specified that. I am looking at the 7.3L Godzilla gas motor. You do raise good points about the weight of it though. It looks like the Godzilla is about 538 lbs. 7.3 powerstroke is 920 lbs. It will definitely be heavier than a 302 or 351, but i think the HP and torque...

    Super 60's

Awesome info guys Thank you! Let me ask one more question real quick, I know Broncos are heavy, but it sound like this will be overkill. I am taking a serious look at putting a 7.3L in my rig after moving off of my home built 347stroker idea, and that's what led me to the super 60s after...

    Super 60's

From my understanding they are 05-16 f450/550 housings. Bigger shafts and brakes. Better knuckles I believe with a better turn radius. Should be damn near indestructible without spending a bunch more money on them as I understand it. I’m sure there’s more to it though. Bolt pattern is a good...

    Valve Covers

Those look correct. A quick google search I found those and the other style with the "Power by Ford" stamped in. I bet some of the other gurus on here will know better, but those would be cool as long as they have the proper clerances

    347 Stroker

Sorry for the delay guys. Work and life kept getting in the way of my Bronco planning time. Thank you for all of the replies! You have successfully talked me out of doing this build. But since I have the motor, Ill go through it and freshen it up. Maybe sell it and put that money towards...

    347 Stroker

351 would be a good block to start with. But I have the 302 block and am going to build it myself. Was hoping to find some specific cam, valvetrain, crank etc that guys have used to get into a better torque range. want to have a good idea the parts etc im going to use before I get the...

finally went off-road but had to turn back

I was fighting with keeping mine cool for years. The electric fan definitely helped but still ran up into the 230 range frequently. Last year after going to WH tri pass radiator and using a remote cooler for my c4 was the first time ive wheeled without getting hot. Highest i saw on a full day...

    347 Stroker

Thanks for the feedback so far. Curious if you guys have any specific cam brands or grinds that youd recommend. One of the things ive seen is that overlap equals torque. Good thing this is a holiday weekend so i have to wait until Tuesday to call and talk to places. Looking at Lunati voodoo...

    347 Stroker

Looking for some advice from you guys that have built your motors. I was given a 302 that is from a 72/73 Bronco. That motor was running when it was stopped, so Im confident the block is in good shape. Now my question is this, I am currently running a 302 with rv cam and want something that...
