I’ve banged on my 3550 for years with a stock 1990 efi 5.0 from a mustang , with 4.11 axles and 35 inch tires It finally started popping out of first gear But alot of 3550s did that in the wranglers with the six cylinder .

I ran a stock 351w and the stock 3 speed for years . Had the shifter on the column for a couple of years then got the James Duff floor shifter Adding power steering and the floor shifter made it feel like a sports car
