    Fuel sender rear tank

    So, I received my rear fuel sender, and it looked short. So, I matched it to a friends, and it seem wrong to me, but on the box, it says it fit's a 66 to 76, Here are some pictures of the new one to my friend's. The float arm and suction tube and filter seem short, or is this what they are now.

    I had to change my axle seal, so i'm going to replace the metal seal that goes between the backing plate and axle tube. I forgot which way the raised lip on the metal seal faces? Does the raised lip face the backing plate or does it face the axle tube?

    Paul WH axle help (passenger side)

    Hey Paul, my 74 looks like it needs a new axle on the passenger side, the seal surface is pretty worn. I pulled the axle and its 28 splined, the brake size are 11 inch and shoes are 1 .75 wide. the inner seal is a national 51098 and the bearing number is 88128-2RS. I 'M NOT SURE HOW TO MEASURE...

    I'm installing Tom's 3.5 inch rear springs and not sure if I need the wedge under the leaves. The old lift was a add a leaf which gave me 3 inch lift and had no wedges, and pion was angle up.     I'm curious, on my 74 rebuild 302, I don't run a heater, so I've just looped the heater hose from the water pump to the manifold. Can doing this cause my engine to run hotter?
