correct green and violet go to distributor, black and orange to distributor, another harness is for rev contoler pn 8769, gray wire to tach (white wire not used with msd distributor), black and red go directly to battery, but out of the main wire harness i have to take a red wire to the ignition...

i am installing msd off road set up in my 76 and i need to know what color wire i need to pull from the switched leed from the ignition key i can get it right from the harness, right? the other wires on that plug dont get used any more do they? truck has stock wire harness. need help please!!
