    B pillar support replacement

Many shops will use “Slick Sand”. It’s a high build, sprayable filler. It’s applies very consistently, covers sins and is easily sandavle to creat a super smooth surface. Less high tech shops will just skim coat and sand getting to the same end point. if there’s more than a skim coat, cut it...

    Best manufacturer of replacement panels?

You’re going to get a smattering of opinions (such as mine!). Short version is that it’s going to vary by panel. I’ve ordered the same panel from different suppliers with varying quality of fit. I’ve even had the same panels from the same vendors have varying quality of fit! Venturing a...

    B pillar support replacement

I did my repair (as described above) very seamlessly after measuring 100x, avoided overheating the welds to avoid warping metal and some grinding.

    B pillar support replacement

Post some pics. I’ve had luck drilling spot welds and grafting the lower sections of both A and B pillars. Taking this approach, the body remained largely / structurally intact but replaced the lower 1/3 with clean steel. Side benefit, I was able to access, clean and coat the upper posts...

    Jeep Corbeau Rear Seat?

Hey! Checking to see if anyone is using a Jeep backseat in their EB. I bought a folding Corbeau seat geared towards a Jeep for my wife’s EB but wasn’t sure about fitment between the inner fenders. Jeeps are a lot narrower… Anyone have pics using the Corbeau fold down? Thanks!

This may be something I can handle. Shoot me a PM with what you have in mind. See if I can figure something out.

    Hypothetically speaking… trail tops?

No updates. I’m just a guy with a decent sewing machine. I can’t offer a Mass Buy as I can’t churn them out. If I do make them, they’ll be made individually and payment upon completion.

    Bond fiberglass to steel?

Fiberglass and the resin need something to bite into for improved adhesion. I can’t speak to the hood application (heat, vibration, slamming hood closed….). The times I’ve used fbg on steel, I always made sure the surface was properly prepped: clean of rust, debris, oils then roughed the...

Pulling engine and Trans together or separate ?

Some considerations…. Before buying my current mega hoist, I had a HF hoist that wouldn’t lift high enough to clear the rad support and the legs were too short for me to have confidence in finding the right balance to pull all 3. (I’m happy to lend this 1 if you’re anywhere around NC. ) If...

    C4 Rebuild

Talk to your trans shop. Be honest with yourself and the shop about how you’ll run the truck. With that said, upgrade all the internals of you decide to invest in the c4. Redirecting - for $2200, I’d look at and AOD swap b/c that sounds expensive to me.
