Need tech help on a holley carb. The instructions say for the accelerator pump jets, ( the ones right above the air bleeds) that the ball goes under the needle. It appears that the ball should go above the needle. Which way is correct? (4 bbl holley) \ Thxs in advance.... Greg

I go BFG longtrail all the way. I'm a tech, and see a wide variation of tires on trucks withe their wear patternes. I strongly reccomend the BFG LT because their resistance to feathering/cupping. The set I have now has 40+ on them and still around 3MM of tread left not including the wear...

Chances are your pressure and return are reversed???? Otherwise something in the spool valve is not set correctly. Greg

Well, after having done an AOD swap myselft, the results are unbeleiveable! You will kinda have to scrounge around and find one, but if possible get one from a earlier 90's mustang. It's the most updated non electronic AOD availbe. It also has the lower first gear. Considering no matter what...

If you indeed have an 84 bronco - I6 - 4 spd man, and you want to put in a 5.0 - AOD, will be pice of cake. Only hard part is shift cables, and cooler lines. Greg

Well, if you can get your hands on it for around a hundred or so bucks, stash the engine and use the AOD; However if you can maybe buy the engine, sell the trans and get a late AOD, go for it. Optimally if you want an AOD swap, use one from a 91 to 93/4/5 musang. It's got the lower gearset...

When I adjusted the ACC pump, I turned the 3/8 nut that serves as the adjuster. I set it (previous to what 2badrotties said) so it almost touches (0.010-0.005in). Just enough that the linkage is free at idle, but ANY trottle application and it will spit some fuel in. I haven't had the break...

Is it possible that with your lift you put bigger shocks on it and when the drag link is at full steer its coming back (closer to the axle) and hitting the shocks before the steering knuckle is hitting it's stop? Mine has large shocks and the super strong steering kit. I know you said you had...

I'm thinking of installing sooner than later a 23 gallon tank to eliviate constant refueling. For those of you who have done this, what is your REAL WORLD opinion on how they fit and how much ground clearence they really give you? I know they say it works great, but what do you guys think? Greg
