How deep is this rabbit hole?

The transmission, just make sure that you keep it full of 90W, and if you can't stand the black drops on the driveway throw an old piece of carpet under where you park. The exhaust.. If it has a single exhaust, put the sole of your shoe over the end of the tail pipe and you will know right away...

Should they stand behind their parts? Your opinion please

OK I get it. Case dropped. They win. OK, Thanks for all of the straight up replies. I must, being dragged kicking and screaming, agree with all or at least most of you. Now I am trying to figure out how to pull a thread off the forum because I got the message and don't need any more opinions.

Should they stand behind their parts? Your opinion please

Hi All, As we all know, a Bronco build can, and usually does, take years to complete. For me, I started my build in 2001. Due to the fact that I work by myself, I am not a rich man and I wanted to do it right, It took me until 2006 to complete my 77 Bronco Ranger. Got it all together with the...

Need your opinions on cooling system options

Steve83 Very interesting information on the CHT sensor. Makes me wonder if it is possible that I am using a temperature sensor that is made to measure water temperature and they very specifically say that the CHT sensor is made for measuring "metal" temperature. Just a thought. SgtCoulter I...

    Aux Tank Question

I agree with blubucakroo Great update to do, and easy. The gauge switch is actually an on/on SPST switch so it is already set up for this mod. I highly recommend the mod. When you switch gauge to read the other tank, the valve switches to draw fuel from the other tank at the same time. Down...

Need your opinions on cooling system options

Thanks for all of the input. I think the first thing I am going to do is go back to a mechanical fan and a good shroud. That may do it. After thinking about it for a while I remember that I had space problems with the fan before because I have a 3 groove crank pulley on it because I thought I...

Inverted Y vs T vs Knuckle over

I should have said it in the first place, sorry. 3 1/2" lift, no body lift, 33 12.50-15 slotted aluminum Pro comp rims, track-lock, welded and bolted track arm bracket. I think if I go with the Toms or Wild horses etc, T style I may not need spacers, don't know though.

Inverted Y vs T vs Knuckle over

Hi Guys, My 77 Ranger has the original inverted Y tie rod set-up. I am thinking I want to change it but not sure if I should just go with a stock, replacement 3 way adjustable aftermarket system from one of the Bronco companies or if I should go with a homemade system. I was originally going to...

Need your opinions on cooling system options

Hi Guys, It has been over two years now since I have done anything with my 77 Ranger or even been on this forum. Came real real close to meeting the grim reaper two years ago and am just now feeling good enough to turn a wrench again. I did a frame up custom resto on my rig a few years back. Got...

    Optima

Look into the Deka Intimidater. I have a dual battery set-up with two of them and I am very satisfied. PLUS the customer service at Deka is second to none in my opinion.

    New Mexico meet and greet?

Hey Devin Yeah, it is the red one with white top and flares last time I saw it. I think she has her top off right now. (you guys get your mind out of the gutter. I am talking about the bronco, not her:p ) She works at the bank in WR. She replied to my e-mail and said that she has to work until...

    New Mexico meet and greet?

Meet and Greet I plan to be at the meet and greet on Saturday. Is it still at Fuddruckers at 10:00 am? I talked to a friend of mine about it and she is going to try to make it too. I thought it might be nice to have a pretty lady Bronco fanatic at the meet also. :o :o 8-) She has put a lot of...

    New Mexico meet and greet?

I'll knock it around. This has been a tough year for me. Came pretty close to meetin the "Great Bronco Driver in the Sky". Still not healed up. Don't know if I ever will. I might be willing to go as far as Alb, but Las Cruses in June with no A/C???? Don't think I could do that one.

    My '69 Build

You are doing one hell of a good job on this rig!! You must have a good motivator that is pushing you on this project. I should throw a couple of pic of my rig up on here. I just haven't been focused on Bronco stuff lately. Still thinking about selling the blue rig but I just can't see parting...
