Yes the painless harness has the power come from a fuse not the headlight switch like to original wiring.

No that looks like the one i purchased that is made to fit a maverick. The one I had on the bronco the vacuum valve sticks up towards the top of the engine, basically a 90 angle than the one you have in this picture.
