'71 Bronco, from 3sp man to C4/6 auto?
Guys - Forgive me for my ignorance, but I am a big bronco guy. I have always wanted an early bronco, however. Looking at a 71 bronco. Has 3 on the tree. Detroit Locker (rear) and 28 spline axle?
Guys - I am looking at a 75 bronco with a detroit locker in the rear on a 28 spline axle. I have heard that this is considered a weaker system than using a 31 spline axle. However, I would be using the bronco mostly on pavement, with the off road usage limited to relativley easy four...- natotx
