    What's wrong with a one wire?

    I've been using one wire alt. to replace other's for about 18 yr.'s. Have had NO problem's and I've put them in everything from pickup's to crane's. Go with the one wire.

    Not enough info. color & smell of exhaust, also run your finger in ex. pipe and see if it's black and whether you can smell anything.
