Just got the truck started and when i touch the wheel it rips out of my hand to the left? I don't remember if the pump in it is out of an a car with a box or if it is out of the cougar that donated the efi. Is there a difference between rack and pinion pumps and the older style pumps?

Is that possible or will they need to check the numbers and want a matching one in return?

Any one have any info on how or what to modify to get this system to work? I just bought a harness and would like to run the cougar computer (they are a lot easer to find in ND).

What are you guys doing for a pcv valve on a 351 with efi? I am using a cougar intake mated to a truck lower with a home made adapter, but the truck lower has no provisions for a pcv valve.

First thanks for the help. I just rebuilt an 83 351 to put in my little project. My plan was to put a 2bbl carb on it and run it around, but today at the junkyard I came across a 91 cougar 5.0 thats all there. just looking for the basics of what to expect and look for while triing to get it...
