    I'm backwards-EFI TO CARB SWAP

Peice of cake! I didn't want to do a body lift so i put my stock 2 barrel on an 86 motor and got rid of all the other electronic BS. I can change out points and fix a carb on the trail but fuel injection problems suck when there is no cell signal and it's a 20 mile walk to the nearest...

    Carb recomendation

Hollys stink for anything but a flatlander rig. You can't give em away out here in the mountains. They give you lots of power but get them a little out of level and theflood or starve and backfire. Dyno-Jet here won't even mess with them and they are the pro's..............

I put an 86 motor in my EB and now i only have 1 bolt holding the clutch bracket to the bellhousing. There was no hole in the block as it had a Hydraulic clutch. Any ideas how to remedy this??

    86 motor in a 69 Bronco a PITA!

I am using the flywheel and balancer that came with the 86 motor. I had it running for a bit today and it runs fine. Just gotta come up with cooling options. Gonna go hunt for the clutch bracket y'all are talking about now too!!!

    86 motor in a 69 Bronco a PITA!

Took the worn out 69 302 out of the Bronco and stuck it under the bench for a future rebuild. Replaced it with an 86 and pulled off the Fuel Injection to replace with my carb. Things went fine for a bit. I got an electric fuel pump for it, plugged the extra holes for smog in the heads and...
