    Brake lights

    I have a similar problem on my bronco, normally the lights work fine but the turn indicator assy in the steering column is goofing up some how, usually they work fine but randomly 1 or both lights stop working. Otherwise you can get an LED version of almost any bulb through a popular chain...

    Cooling Issues...everyone favorite.

    Try running the truck without the hood to make sure the air has a way of leaving the engine compartment. It may seem silly but make sure everything is turning the right direction.

    no power under load???

    I second that, try the old 500, if that fixes the problem then you know its the carb. I am asuming this happens when the truck is at an angle. I had a similar problem with my 500 where the float was set a little too high. When I was climbing up a hill, fuel would spash through the vent tube on...

    New Problem and Old Problem

    Im not sure on the brakes but for the heater, make sure the valve is actualy turning by pulling the hoses and looking through the valve, I had one that looked like it was working fine from the outside but the inside was siezed and just the shaft was turning. 5 or 11 pack rear springs

    I bought a set james duff 11 leaf springs. They rode well with the hardtop. Now I have a halfcab and they feel a little stiff. But for towing I think they would do great. When I fill the truck up with about 500lbs of fire wood the thing rides like butter, but doesn't sag. They flex very well...

    what the f+++ is wrong?

    I had something similar happen to mine, it would fire up fine but 10 to 15 min down the road it would act like it had water in the fuel, and eventually die. Turned out to be a faulty ignition coil that would stop working when it heated up but would fire whenever I pulled a plug to check for...

    Fan install options

    Hey all, I want to get rid of my flex fan and install either a clutch fan or electric fan. I only have about 3 inches between the little alignment tip on the water pump shaft and the radiator. It is not enough to clear a clutch fan and uncomfortably close with the thinnest electric fan that...

    Relays Blowing

    Do the relays still click? Is so then the load on them might be too high and fry the contacts, or very bad location (getting sprayed with water), check for any gounded or rubbing wires in the circuit, I have found sections where the sheathing was simply missing, exposing and inch or so of bare...

    Brake questions

    If you plan to stay on small tires (31's or so) I have found the drums work very well when set up properly. Unfortunately they are usually overlooked and in very bad shape before they get any real attention. If your wheel cylinders and drums are in good shape you can turn the drums, replace the...

    Replacing The Front Main Seal

    Ive got a leak coming from my front main seal on the timing cover. Any one know if I can change the seal without pulling the whole cover off? It is not the origional cover, this one has the dipstick hole, but not sure what year it's from, if it makes a difference.
