    3-G alternator ?

I agree, I did the upgrade about a year and half ago (with help on this board from steve and others). It's a great upgrade--both easy to do and very good results

    Seafoam?

ditto on that. I also had a surprisingly good experience with riselone(sp) --replaces a quart of oil. was recommended by a friend and engine has never been quieter. I use it at every change now

Using my Bronco to apply for college. Update: I WAS ACCEPTED!!!!

So someone may have pointed this out already (I skipped ahead). But forget what your counselor says about grades! Like your Bronco, you will get out of college what you put in to it. It's a new beginning and after you're accepted, your past grades don't matter a d@mn bit :) Work hard, show...

    Koenig pto questions

Cajun's correct about the farm implements. I'm pretty sure ford did the same thing at some point. I could swear that i've read info or seen pics of things like augers that attach on the rear bumpers for drilling post-holes. I have a koenig winch, but only front drive. I think both PTO's have...

Master-Pull synthetic winch rope, Mass Buy (New prices listed)

I'm still in on the mass buy if there are still people interested? . . . BTW--anyone happen to know off-hand how much 3/8" a stock koenig PTO spool will hold?

    Uhaul Car trailer

I've towed mine on both a Uhaul trailer and a budget trailer. I have 31s and both worked fine, the Uhaul had plenty of extra strap length, the budget didn't--but may have just been that individual trailer. Think you should be good to go--good luck!

Flareless - Cut out Rear Fender

Welcome to the board man. Yes, what you want to do is possible. There are a few people here who have done that--hopefuly they'll chime in. I think they fabbed together the cut out pieces from other's fenders--you'll have to fab up two scraps per side because the wheel well opening will be...

X2--it's my bet only because it was the source of my big bang (my cosmic radiation tends to eminate from other areas ;D ) --hopefully it's not your problem though--keep us updated.

Salt protection--updated opinions for a salt virgin?

That thought had crossed my mind, but then I'd have to eat a lot of crow--my brother is a jeep owner so we naturally have some friendly banter back and forth. Still it'd be better than ruining my Bronco.

Salt protection--updated opinions for a salt virgin?

Yeah, it is an option--just hate to leave it sitting there (I am single though--so at least there's a garage stall for it). Plus my pickup is only 2WD--though 400lbs of sand in the back with good snow tires has worked for me so far ;D --has not been a bad winter, just tons of salt on the road.

Salt protection--updated opinions for a salt virgin?

I know, I know, covered a thousand times and I'm slowly making my way through the search results for POR15, salt, etc. I just moved "up north" from GA, I'm lucky enough not to have much rust (visible anyway) and some new floor pans but none of the undercarriage is protected. I was wondering...
