Sourced them from www.ultimatepedals.com - really helpful guy, lots of options and was able to put a kit together to spec (wider later-model brake, etc). Ryan

Hotel rooms are booked, beer is purchased, BBQ is planned... my Bronco is coming home this weekend!! A slight hiccup 2 weeks ago with some lifter noise and oil pushing through PCV valve set it back, but it's set now. Buffed yesterday, detailed today, tailpipes run, alignment finished and AC...

    Auto Coverage for 1970 Bronco?

Hagerty for mine - only $740/yr for $60k stated value with a $1000 deductible. My normal stuff is with Nationwide, they wouldn't insure it beyond a "fair market value" of $8k, regardless of how thick the stack of receipts is.

Wiring Harness: Painless, Centech, E-Z Wiring, Ron Francis, ???

Went all Painless in mine, and added a bunch of their other parts (door contacts, convenience module, phantom key system... All played nice together and their support has been great.

Some more pics from this weekend. It's finally mobile! Had some serious bump-steer issues - you can see how far the bars were from parallel a few pages back. Ended up losing the drop pitman arm and adding one of Bernie's Kiser Risers to raise the trac bar up. Can't thank him enough - quick...

    found a power step vid..

We installed a single bypass switch (also controls the dome lights) that basically locks them into position. So when I'm out on the beach, I can extend them and lock them in the down position. If I'm out wheeling w/ my tube doors, I can lock them in the up position. Ryan

    found a power step vid..

Here's the vid... opted to go the step route because the door sills are 32" high; the steps drop down a good 10" and there's extensions to drop another 3" if I need to. Really nice setup - there's resistance sensors so that nothing gets pinched or bent. rgnMol6hRpg

    'Raptor' Build - Updated 5/1/2012 - It's DONE!

I built the door panels last night; pulled apart a set of premium ones, added a padded section of blue material to match the seat inserts up top. Not 100% thrilled with the result (I'm f'in rusty at doing upholstery work - last time was an a car I built in 2002), but it'll do for now...

    buildabronco.com

Hell - easily, I've got to hundreds of hours doing that part of it. I've picked out just about every part, reviewed every picture that's been sent over and been consulted on every bit of it. Just working out the adapters, parts, etc with the Atlas II and 4R70W was a whole weekend. Brian and...
