    OR Hone-o-drive

Ok fellas and ladies, here is something cool. This was a dealer option divorced overdrive unit that bolts directly to the Ford 9" rear end with a shortened drive shaft. It's operated with a separate stick shift, but could also be operated with a push button servo (slick). If you don't know how...

    Clicking/clacking around corners

So, finally got around to it. Pulled the passenger side axle, bearings is new, looks like they were done when the true trac was put in. Brake drum parts all look good, put it all back together and the sound is gone. Not sure what it was, but at least I didn't have to replace the bearing(s).

    Clicking/clacking around corners

Nope, wish it were that simple. The clicking is in time with the speed im going around the turn. Nothing is making contact with the driveshaft etc. I'll get into it this weekend and post what I find.

    Clicking/clacking around corners

Thanks fellas. It is a True Trac, which is why I didn't think it should be making any noise, got it from Toms. New drive shaft as well.

    Clicking/clacking around corners

I'm getting a clicking sound from the rear when going around corners, both right and left. I have a true trac that was installed last summer, wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

    Stalling help

Ok, got it figured out. I did replace the vacuum advance, but that wasn't it either. Took off the carburetor to my workbench (tailgate) and took it apart. Took off the top and there was a bunch of crystallized residue in the fuel bowl. Took apart the rest of the carb and blew out all the passage...

    Stalling help

Having exact same issues with my 70. Stock 302 and autolite 2100. Been sitting all winter, was running great when I put her to bed last year. Put sta bil in the tank as a precaution. Changed the pump, filter, installed pertronix and fiddled the every adjustment on the carb. Vaccuum advance seems...

Bronco won't start----now starts, but have a new question?

Don't for get to check if your fuel tank switch is in the right position. I went to start mine and forgot I had switched it while doing some cleaning. I've learned to not always assume the worst.

    Do-it-yourself wheel polishing

I used Flitz metal polish with their buff ball on my drill. Used their aluminum pre cleaner first. Really worked good. Google them, they have a video.

    Salvage yard Lower steering shaft?

Looking for a lower steering shaft that will match up to the stock '74 PS box I just got. Came across a thread on bronco fix that said a lower steering shaft from an '84+ Cherokee (little, not grand) will match up. Can anyone confirm this? The '74 box I have is 30 spline and 3/4" diameter. Thanks!
