    Just cut the old one off and use a clamp to hold the spring back?

    Any suggestions on how to remove retaining clamp for e-brake from the drum backing plate with out destroying the parts? Have to swap the plates out. Bummer! :mad::mad:

    figured it out Had a great parts store walk me through it. Turns out the drums I got from a buddy of mine had 69 or later hubs. All good! thanks

    First time doing this and loosing my mind. Bought grease seal (from O'reilly) and they are not snug in the housing as were the previous ones. Looks like the originals were double seals. Suggestions? Thoughts?
