Used to ride in the back of my dad's F-100 to camp and back (~100 miles each way) had an aluminum cap on it. Maybe a 6" thick pad to sit on, that was it. This was 'back in the day' 1960's to early '70s. Don't think that is LEGAL today???
Anyway, my concern would be: THE OTHER GUY driving and...
Pretty sure '76 door latches/lock placement are not the same as '66 doors. Don't think the windshield attachment holes on a '66 match up to a '76 top either.
I see you bought the "knock off" version. The Toyota version is over $200 I think. I have one on my Tacoma and it works great getting in and out of the bed. Bought a similar one for my son's '21 Ranger PU....he already has a bad hip (HS soccer) and a bad knee (skiing). I think his is Rugged...
You mention college....when I sold my '68 4 or 5 years ago (I can't even remember for sure now) I used the money to pay off my son's college loans I had taken out for him. I had only driven it MAYBE 500 miles in the 9 or so years I owned it. Both of my kids told me not to sell it, but I didn't...
Just an observation.......with all the work put into this ride, why didn't you paint the underside of the hood??? I don't get that.
Other than that, it looks great!
PS: I am BROKE!!!!!
Tasker, tried to PM you but, I am blocked??? No biggie, BUT are you looking to BUY or SELL the listed items???? Ad isn't clear.
Pops (the blocked one!!)
Maybe a more descriptive/specific title would get you some answers as opposed to "Ringo"
PS: I don't have any answers for you - just trying to help you get some responses.
I haven't had a Bronco in several years, but still pay my yearly dues to stay a contributor to help maintain the site!!!
But, it doesn't look like a requirement to post pics according to Jon's info.
Still, a good thing to do.
