Anyone know the gap for a stock 68 289?

I'll have to call around tomorrow. I didn't think of NAPA.

I couldn't find a stock one local or online. If using an MSD will I have to use the additional ballast?

The stock coil went bad and leaked a lot of oil out. All of the parts stores are recommending an MSD coil. Do I need a ballast as well or is there one in the stock harness somewhere? I searched but couldn't find one. 1968 289.

Did you use a white paint for the top and trim or parchment? I have a very similar 68, same color scheme and all. The previous owner painted the top and trim white because he said that's how it came. He was the original owner since new. The opinions on here seem to be it would have not come in...

I just bought one in the last week or so. I was expecting something better. The one I received is basically a peice of press board with reliefs cut in it so you can fold it along the edges. The color isn't even close to the stock one.

Anyone know where to find a replacement rubber floor liner?

Here are a couple photos of the interior. The white does look very bright in the pictures but in person it has a cream tint to it. Same with the seats. I'm not looking to keep it completely stock but I wasn't sure if adding carpet or something small of the like would look out of place...
