    1976 Kentucky

Belfry is 30 miles from Pikeville, on the WV border, couple miles from Williamson WV and 20 miles from Matewan. "Heart of Coal Country". My family is related to both sides of the Hatfield and McCoy feud. Guess you could call us hillbillys.

    Turn signal indicator light

Those are what I'm looking for, however, I'm having so much trouble with my EZ-Wire harness I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Painless harness that has them included.

    Turn signal indicator light

A member on here sent me a PM with a link to some of these more modern ones, and they have one that fits a 3/4 inch hole. They also have a single wire ground through the cluster type, so I may try one of those if I can't come up with an OEM version.

Thanks! I was able to super glue one back together, but then another one took a dump.

SHOW ME YOUR 3" DUAL EXHAUST!

I have the same set up as phred, with long tube headers. Don't have a tailpipe yet, but planning on going out just forward of the passenger side rear tire.

    Turn signal indicator light

Yesterday I managed to break a turn signal indicator socket, and I can't seem to find a source for one other than a set of six used ones from Classy Chassis. Anyone know where I can get one?

90 degree thermostat housing question- O ring?

Pretty sure the manifold surface is the same, the change was the grove for the o-ring in the housing, so it should work for you.

Latest "frame off" from Beach City Broncos

Is that passenger side mirror usable in that position? I was hoping to mount my mirrors like that, but was concerned it would be useless. Great looking rig!

Brakes get grabby the more you drive

Went twice-once on the bike and once in the Mustang. Great fun. Driving around with no brakes-not fun.

You took your rig to Deal's Gap? Sweet.

Body stored on lift for 2 months, opinions pls

I didn't brace mine nearly as much as yours and it was fine. Like @67sport I wrote measurements right on the body with sharpie as I took things apart. You'll be fine. You can't really get the gaps right til it's back on the frame anyway. Any gap you set before you put it on the frame will change...

    Side mirror location help!!!

I bought land rover mirrors. I haven't done it yet, but I was considering mounting them to the top of the fenders just forward of the A pillar.

Can I align my body panels while on the frame without the drivetrain?

I think you'll be able to align everything just fine. Maybe minor tweaks to get door gaps right or a shim or two in the body mounts after the drivetrain goes in.

TorqStormnkw has a supercharger for Explorer 5.0 serpentine

315 Horsepower at 2600 RPM, Twin turbo superchargers that produce at least sea level pressure to 25,000 feet. Air to air intercoolers. Don't think it'll fit.

TorqStormnkw has a supercharger for Explorer 5.0 serpentine

Well if we're gonna do all that, we might as well add an intercooler! Now where to put that...

    Body bracing for removal

I used a 1-1/2" square tube between the door pillars and 1" square tube across the bed. I'm sure that was overkill. I had the hood and fenders off. With a 24 foot stick you could double it up and for sure brace it up. I used a 4 point lift at the second and third row body mounts points.

    off the shelf hydraulic clutch?

Just checked BC's site. They sell a kit for the ZF with the internal slave cylinder.

    Accelerator Pump Question

When you open the throttle any amount, it draws air in much faster than fuel can get through the jets and into the air stream. For that reason, accelerator pumps push an extra squirt of fuel in at almost any throttle position. You can test that by openning the throttle slowly and seeing where it...
