    Help me price my bronco...

I am pondering putting my bronco up for sale in the near future. I love it but with an almost 2 year old I don't have time to give it the attention it deserves. It is a 1973 with a pretty much stock 302 with automatic C4 tranny. The bronco spent most of its life in Mississippi until I...

Brakes locked up and can't move..

Yea I'm going to get it towed to the house and dig into it. Once I relieve the pressure the wheel moves but it only takes a couple pumps and it locks down again...something is not allowing the pressure to come out..

Brakes locked up and can't move..

Found the issue.. I bled the pressure off the front drivers side and it released the wheel.. Would a faulty master cylinder cause issues at a single wheel??

Brakes locked up and can't move..

I opened the one on the rear before I knew the issue was in the front. So I should try and open both front now? Also when I open it up should I leave it open when I try to move the wheels?

Brakes locked up and can't move..

Ok so I got back under it and the driveshaft and front knuckle will turn freely but the front wheels will not turn when jacked up.. When I turn the drive shaft I see the passenger axle Turing but not the driver side but neither wheel will turn...?

Brakes locked up and can't move..

The hubs are unlocked, I can only get the front drive shaft to turn about 1/4 turn each way. When I rock the front wheel back and forth the drive shaft and knuckle does not move..

Brakes locked up and can't move..

I just jacked it up and I can get the rear wheels to turn. There is a little more drag on the rear passenger but I could turn it. I jacked up each of the front wheels separately and they would only turn about an inch each way and then stop I have the trans in neutral they should free spin right?

Brakes locked up and can't move..

I opened the bleeder and pushed the pedal and only got a little more give. The wheels are still locked; opened a line at the MC and depressed the brake and it pushed fluid out but the wheels are still locked??

Brakes locked up and can't move..

Went to take the my 73 bronco out today and the brake pedal felt hard and high. When I would release the brake I could feel some drag in acceleration like the brakes were slightly engaged. I never use the parking brake and it is not engaged. It does have a brake booster. Now when I went to...

Replaced kickdown O-ring now won't shift

Problem solved: apparently I did not add enough fluid to it after the change. I put in 4 quarts but ended up needing 7 to fill it up..

Replaced kickdown O-ring now won't shift

Yes the lever moves easy. It just does not kick Into gear. I also did a fluid/filter change on the tranny. Could it be something with that?

Replaced kickdown O-ring now won't shift

1973 Bronco C4 Auto I replaced the O-ring on the kickdown lever due to leakage. But now it won't shift into gear. Could it be the O-ring wasn't perfectly the same size? Or something else I missed or re assembled the wrong way?

    C4 filter extension

What info would I need at the parts store to have them search for it. Use make and model of another vehicle?

    C4 filter extension

Ok so maybe at some point a different pan was placed on it. It's only a hair off; I'm giving the moroso gasket a try which is a litter thicker but still not sitting as it should even with the added thickness of the gasket..

    C4 filter extension

I can't figure out what the deal is here. It is the stock pan with dropped center and it does not appear to be crushed in at all. I have the ext as far as I can place into the filter. Will there be issues with running the stock pan with deep center no ext. Does not really see any off-road...

    C4 filter extension

1973 bronco. I am changing the c4 gasket and realized mine does not have a filter ext on the filter. I ordered one from toms and it hits the pan and does not allow the pan to seat on the tranny. The parts guy looked up the filter for the bronco and that's the one he gave me. Is it the wrong...

Would you recommend going aluminum again or stock style radiator??

    Radiator leak

73 bronco with 302. Champion aluminum radiator that's only a few years old with light wear. I noticed coolant leaking from the bronco. I took a closer look and there was a small stream spraying from the fins top drivers side and drops coming from the drivers side bottom looks like from fins...
