The painter thinks it is a low end urethane and not done very well.The laquer thinner is working pretty good on the lite spots,not taking very much paint with it. Bob

Thats one of my problems,I had to wet sand it & buff it when I first got it.It got pretty thin in a few spots,but not bad.I just did a little thinner on the flairs a minute ago,it comes off but makes it greyish. Bob

I'm going to put disc brakes on my D30 (chevy),so I can put on D44 when I find one.My question is about the outer axle machining needed,what needs to be machined.I can't find exactly what needs machined on D30 axles specificly. Bob

I got mine at Rockauto ,upper Metro RR3310 -36.49 & lower Metro LM 11-B -74.99. Used 3M extra strength weatherstrip adhessive,still there & they formed to door quick.............Bob

When I first got mine it got 10/12 totaly stock with 302,3spd,410 gears & 245/75-15 tires,really hi rpm.After I lifted it & put 33"bfg m/t's on it & corrected the speedo I get 12/14.

Man,I'd just be happy to find a creeper that would roll over the air hoses,ext cords,& wrenches that ALWAYS get stuck under the wheels that I can't reach to get unstuck.

If you have a paint supply house around most that I've seen have them with the trim clips & trim screws on a rack. If all else fails walk the pic n pull with a screwdriver & get a selection.............Bob
