    Steering Column issues

I cut my rag joint flange off and ground each side flat to accept a double D u-joint. Mine was hitting the wheel tub as well. I don't have the later model wheel tub with the grooved section to clear the flange for power steering. I don't have the support on now either but have had it mocked up...

    Beadlock Slots

Ouch! $850 a wheel, I'll pass. They do have a Ford 5 on 5-1/2 though.

Does anyone know the wheel manufacturer that made these? Are they still available?

What have you done to your Bronco today?

Finished. Not super happy with the way the wrinkle paint ended up. Still waiting on the lid pad from Amazon. Thinking about adding a small door type speaker under the cup holders. Do you think it would be very effective?

302 low rise intake manifold recommendation for hood clearance

I have a 69 4-barrel cast iron intake that sits as low as the Edelbrock. I see those some time on FB Marketplace at a reasonable price.

    Frame off 1/2 inch

About 2” up and a little pushed back. Ended up cutting a relief in the frame to pull it back out.

Body shop wanted $1500 to even put it on the frame puller, and at that said didn’t think he could get it back close. So…..

    Frame off 1/2 inch

Drilled and anchored threaded eyebolts into my driveway, used come alongs, jacks, torch, and a tractor to straighten my son's 97 F150 frame after he ran up a bank and into a tree. Really jacked on the passenger side, back and up. Got it aligned afterward, better than it was before.

Fan shroud mod for explorer serpentine

Seems like I've saw a thread here, or maybe it was just mentioned where someone modified their stock shroud to better fit a stock Explorer fan. Seems like they had added an aluminum extension to the flare of the stock shroud. Has anyone done this or remember the article I am thinking about?

Throwback pictures - post them if ya got them

That black half cab has to be one of the straightest trucks I’ve ever saw! It was perfect everywhere.

Yes, so probably not out of time. I think I’m going to cut the wide splines down with a die grinder and position it parallel to the frame.

Is there any way to get the box out of time if it has been apart in the past?

Must be a stock Bronco box then. I removed from another Bronco I have, and it bolted up to this frame without modification.

This is the position of the pitman arm with the box centered. This is the pitman arm with the four solid splines for clocking. It’s a ford arm, so I would assume the box was something used on fords from the era.

That’s what I thought. I need to see if this box is for something else and was just used in place of a Bronco ps box?

    Pitman arm positiin

Can someone check the position of their pitman arm when the steering box is centered and possibly take a picture of it in relation to the frame rail? With my box centered (5.8 turn box), my pitman is positioned about 14 degrees outboard of the frame rail. I was thinking it should be more...
