    Help having exhaust /engine issues

Points are gone. Converted to Pertronix and a flame thrower coil. I will tinker with the carb and possibly the timing. Don't want to pull the heads unless absolutely necessary. I'm in south Jersey not sure my altitude. Lol.

If I can remember the readings were starting with #5 120, 117, 115, 115 on the drivers side.

    Help having exhaust /engine issues

No crossover . It sounds almost like a popping noise I noticed just from that side while idling. So I tried the paper against the tailpipe and sure enough it would want to suck it in periodically. Drivers side is fine.

    Help having exhaust /engine issues

I have true dual exhaust and on the passenger side the exhaust periodically will want to suck in. I did a compression test and the results were 115, 115, 125, and 120 on that side. Short of taking the heads off to inspect the valves, is there anything else I should look for? Nothing looks bent...

I found the problem was a corroded fuse holder. Cleaned it up and now it all works! Thank you all for your help. Dave

    Hazards are driving me NUTS!

It's a 1970 with the switch (new) in the dash. Yeah it is baffling. I'll have to give the fuse box a once over. According to the schematic it's doing what it's supposed to when the brake is pressed. All the lights work. Dave

    Hazards are driving me NUTS!

Help. Hazards are not working like they should. They only work if the brake is pressed but don't flash, Or if the key is on and the turn signal switch is used.( then they blink like normal) There is full voltage at the hazard flasher plug. I removed the flasher and Jumpered the flasher plug and...

Well I braved to 100+ degree heat to find it was the dust cover for the pinion seal. Now to somehow attach/fix the problem. As a side note I did check for a cat with a bell...lol Thanks for all the advice. Dave

I'll have to check the axle bearings and breaks. It's frustrating to find where its coming from. Thanks for the info.

    Jingling noise from below

I hear a jingling noise coming from underneath my bronco towards the rear. Seems to get louder as the truck is driven more. Can't seem to locate it. Checked the driveshaft and U joints, which seem solid. Any ideas?? Not sure what else to check at this point. Thanks

    3 on the tree help

I recently installed a 3" body lift and had to extend all the usual stuff. My problem is the linkage to the transmission. I'm not sure what position the transmission "levers" should be in in relation to the column gear shifter. Guess I should have taken a picture of it before I disconnected...
