    Duff twin sticks with nv3550

Sorry, if this has already been discussed but I couldn’t find anything when I searched. I’d like to install a set of duff twin sticks on my T shift with an nv3550. After speaking with duff they said it wouldn’t fit, but I’m sure someone has figured out the linkage/mount. If anyone has pics or...

    Bikini top question

The bestop bikini does NOT require a wiper motor drop because the windshield header/riser is taller than others

    Headers with NV3550

I used the ceramic hooker 6901, the pass side just barely touched a tab on the trans. I ground 1/4” off and it fits great. The clutch fork contacts the driver side header enough to scratch the coating. I’ll need to address that, but it is fully operational as it sits.

    Crate Engine and Transmission?

The heads on the 96 and 97 will work with typical bronco headers. The 98 - 01 will require a set from bc Broncos.

    Crate Engine and Transmission?

That trans is probably more than half of that package price. I would look into an nv3550 package and add the crate motor to that. Or at least get a 4x4 automatic. In order to adapt that auto trans to a transfer case you would need to tear it down and change the output shaft, probably nullifying...

    Window regulator or track?

Other than the teeth being fouled on the regulator at some point along the curve , I would say the track/felts have a tight spot causing it to bind. It’s pretty easy to pull the whole assembly out and inspect it up close

    Possible engine swap idea

Ford needs the 6 bolt main to compete with the HP potential built into the LS blocks. Looks like a strong step forward. Gotta love competition in engineering.

    Spreading tailgate opening? Ideas?

Don’t let anyone near your tub with a hurst tool (jaws of life) hold that trigger so a bit too long and they will open your tub up an extra 2 inches.

    Spreading tailgate opening? Ideas?

X2 on the portapower. It gives slow, steady control and you can over extend the opening so that it “relaxes” back into the proper width. Just keeping checking for square on each side so you know you are spreading each side equally back to a rectangle, you don’t want to end up with a parallelogram.

Maybe too general of a question?

An NV3550 makes for a nice driving and shifting experience as opposed to the column shifter and 3 speed. Just my humble opinion. And agreed with the above. Sort out and tighten the steering. A nice solid feeling steering wheel and modern trans will go a long way toward improving the ride. Good luck
