    Went and pulled the A-frame out of the woods. Haven't used this since dad and I restored our Case 680 backhoe way back in 1994. This thing will be really handy when blasting this week.

    I'm not as lucky as all you guys who can truly go topless year round. We're in the middle of an ice storm right now. But I'll admit, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the challenges weather creates.

    I had the experience with my first bronco of sticking a screw driver through the A-pillar shortly after bringing it home. Reading and asking questions on this forum is the best starting grounds. You're headed in the right direction!

    If you have access to a blaster, I'd recommend blasting it down to bare metal. Then using an etching primer, or a product like por-15 plus a topcoat in whatever to seal everything up for a lifetimes worth of use.

    Rust bullet six quart combo came in the mail a few days before Christmas. Super busy working on a big geothermal heating project at home right now. Hope to have the frame in the garage and on stands in the next few weeks. Amazing how busy life can get sometimes!!
