Modern Ford master cylinder for 76 stock disc / drum.

I was able to extend the stock MC pushrod and restore a firm pedal feel today. I’m happy but if anyone still has any suggestions for a sealed MC reservoir, please let me know. The original does leak on the fender due to the angle / design.

Modern Ford master cylinder for 76 stock disc / drum.

I’ve searched and read that a 2000 S10 and a F250 MC may work. Any other suggestions? I’m looking for a sealed plastic tank MC that I can bleed with my power bleeder. My 65 Mustang is power brakes with disc / disc and uses an early 2000’s MC from a Mustang. Was recommended by the Mustang...

    Homebrew in tank EFI pump

Gaskets do not exist for this set up. This unit installs through the existing sending unit hole. If I abandon this set up, I will use a set up similar to yours. Is there enough space between the tank and the floor to run fuel lines or did you have to lower the tank slightly? I was running the...

    Homebrew in tank EFI pump

Well I got a drip. Imagine that! LOL. Leaking at one or both the power cables that I used tank sealant on. Gonna have to drain the tank, remove unit and POR15 the back of the sending unit or go back to the drawing board. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Its so much quieter now and I...

    Homebrew in tank EFI pump

External pump was crazy loud. Inspiration came from Holley’s intake EFI pump for 65-66 mustangs. This mod is noticeable when engine is off and priming but cant be heard at idle. Just installed and tested tonight. Works so far. More info to follow. Running Holley Sniper w/ fuel return in tank...

All stock 76 Bronco ford replacement brake parts. Front disc and rear drum. Front port is hooked to the rear drums. I’ll back off the push rod a bit and finish bleeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Brake pedal issues

Sorry for the slow response. I Just got to it. Replaced the master cyclinder with a new one and bench bled the per the directions (plug port). Took forever. I think my new old stock master (I’ve had for 10 years) that I used was likely fine but I just didn’t bleed correctly. I adjusted out the...

    Brake pedal issues

76 Bronco with factory disc / drums. I’ve replaced everything on the brake system except the portioning valve and brake booster. I’ve replaced all hard lines, flexible hoses, calipers, wheel cylinders and the master cyclinder. I’ve blead the brakes twice and I still only have noticeable brake...

Transmission fluid in adapter between c4 and Dana 20 normal?

Thank you for your responses. I likely need to replace the T-case seals too, but I don’t have fluid leaking into the tranfer case, yet…but rather fluid in the section that I refer to as the “adapter” which contains the male transmission shaft inputting into the female T-case or the section...

Transmission fluid in adapter between c4 and Dana 20 normal?

Is this normal for trans fluid to come into the stock ford adapter between the C4 and the Dana 20. This tranny is newly rebuilt and I struggled installing the transfer case and I know I need to replace my c4/ transfer case adapter gasket but I didn’t expect any oil in this section. Is this...

33 or 35 inch tires on 16” wheels with 4” backspacing?

I’ve searched and read everything I can find and still need help….please. 1976 Bronco with front D44, C4 and built 302. I’m looking at 16”x8” Procomp 69 classics wheels. I want 17”s but I don’t consider the additional wheel and tire cost worth it. I’m also considering a 315/75/R16 tire (or...

    EFI Return Line?

If I would have known that unit existed I would have strongly considered it. I already have a frame mount Bosch pump. I was only aware of the $400 units (Holley?) they always install on PowerBlock TV. That one is much more reasonable in cost.

    EFI Return Line?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Q7SXT38/?tag=cbama-20 Thanks for the heads up on the rubber hose, I knew better. So I switched to PTFE tube. Slightly stretched the tube and installed and it’s on tight. Plugged one end and it held with 60PSI. I may still add a fastener if I can find one...
