2021 Black Diamond 2 Door delivered

By some miracle my 2021 Black Diamond, 2 door, 2.7, was delivered to Grapevine Ford (Texas) last week. I reserved this on day one, 7.13.2020 and ordered in January 2021. Two days after I picked it up I received an email from Ford saying I would be getting a new hardtop that would be sent to...

    Frame sandblasted.. now what?

Ive done 2 frames with 5 Star Xtreme hot rod black DTM (direct to metal) paint. It is a 2 part catalyzed paint that has a satin black finish and is very durable . I painted this straight to the frames after sandblasting. With the profile of the metal after the sandblast there was no need to do...

MS what am i missing here?

You need more information and pics. When looking at any early Bronco I would want to see the frame VIN and glovebox tag and make sure they match each other and the title. This looks to be a 75 base model with single tank and no factory radio. The dash hasn't been hacked for a radio as they...

Bolts size for upper seal on steering column

Its a course threaded sheet metal screw with a 3/8 hex head if I recall. I think its the same as the ones that bolt the ground wires to the firewall on the headlights, to give you reference.

    Stock steering column firewall boot

the top hat rubber boot was stapled to that piece of metal and bolted with the four sheet metal screws on the inside pushing the flange of the rubber up against firewall on inside, no seam sealer that Ive ever seen. It looks like yours is still usable. There was a mastic tape type sealant on...

    C4 Trans question/Service

When you remove the bolts from the flywheel to converter and the trans bellhousing to engine it, the trans and converter, should come right off. You do not want to try to remove trans with converter still bolted to the flywheel although you could do it because your frame off. There are some...

Considering buying, need help with value

Looks like 2 vacuum lines from the auto trans, I don't see an ignition box, Im guessing a 73 or 4 model if the auto and powersteering are original to it.

Considering buying, need help with value

Any rust? Rear quarters cut? A clean original paint uncut v8 could be worth 20k, 30k or even well above that depending on condition, originality, etc. There are so many variables that have effect on the price but your description sounds like it could be quite valuable.

Should the Classic/Early Bronco be Called Gen 1? Your Thoughts?

It seems Early Bronco is the most common for 66 77, and most commonly Ive heard Big bronco on everything after. There are some new spy shots on the internet from a couple of days ago of a two door new bronco driving with some camoflauge, but it is believed to be the real two door, and it does...

    Removing body mounts question

I did a set on my 66 using airchisel with flat blade. Hammered the metal pieces from the bottom under the rubber and it knocked all of them apart pretty quickly and easily. Easier than a sawzall.

    General Buying questions.

What everyone else says above.... look on member list here and find someone near you that will go with you.. There are a lot of friendly enthusiastic Bronco fans on here.... VIN: as stated above, its the FRAME stamp VIN that counts with the title more than the glovebox door as those are easily...
