No room to spray water on the belt at the alternator. Only place to spray anything is before belt hits the compressor. I did spray belt dressing and the squeal stopped at idle but would squeal when accelerating. How did you fix your issue?

Grounded the alternator making 14.29 volts at idle. Belt squeals constant at idle. Turned on A/C and stopped but squeals still squeals when accelerating. Got about 1/2" play left on tensioner. Don't see how a smaller belt would fit.
