    Back fire

After discussions here I changed the accelerator pump selector and drastically improved the backfire issue but still slightly there - I am out of carb adjustments unless I start tinkering with jets so will take a look at the timing next. - Thanks for the comments

    Back fire

I have a fresh frame off restoration with fresh rebuilt engine. Person I bought it from put less than 250 miles on it. Engine has apparently had a back fire issue since it was new - previous owner had a shop that replaced the carb with a Holley 600cfm and as stated back the timing off a little...

    Rear floor pan section replacement

Does anyone sell just a section for the rear floor pan? I have a 12X12 section that needs to be replaced vs the whole thing and I don’t have metal bending capabilities. Seems a waste to buy the whole pan

    Aftermarket Seat Opinions

1977 Front Grille Question - Newbie

Thank you for the quick responses. I do not know which package it originally came with - based on the links it looks like it may be mid level package. Truck currently has blue carpet, white vinyl seats and the rear vinyl inserts but not wood grain. But without the history who knows - I think...

1977 Front Grille Question - Newbie

After years of corvette restoration I have purchased a 77 that is primed and ready to paint. I am going back with the original blue metallic but I have seen a number of different center grill colors. Other than personal preference is there a correct color? Same white as the top? Thanks

Chassis Rail interior rust - thoughts

I had no idea a post about frame cleaning would lead to me laughing this much. Thank you for all the great ideas around how to address the issue and links and for some of the more unconventional ones. Prior to Rustytruck’s epa posting and subsequent to squirrel discussion I was carefully...

Chassis Rail interior rust - thoughts

Not sure my reply got posted. Thank you for the responses. The squirrel idea is the best idea yet - not sure about where to buy that kit though - whether it is online or something purchased locally. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the frame and I dont plan on spending time doing...

Chassis Rail interior rust - thoughts

I looked at a 76 last week that had a great deal of work done it to replace sections and repair rust. Once I got underneath and looked at the chassis rails each of the drip holes had a lot of rust flakes. I read online how to treat with Eastwood etc. I examined the frame and knocked looking...
