    BAT Craziness

I don't follow the logic. I can't wrap my head around why the cost of the VIN (the frame I assume - with a title) would go down in cost and a clean body, same thing. I don't imagine that people are buying Broncos as investments, persay. I think some people are surprised when their $250k...

Moving to San Diego - where to get work done?

When I've had my three Broncos built I have specifically said it had to be '75 or older used...for this exact reason.

Moving to San Diego - where to get work done?

Depends what you need. I know that shops in SD outsource some of their work to JBA Speed Shop and couldn't say better things about a place than there. When I went to get my Bronco, they had a couple others there. I don't know Elite Auto, but if that's not a good option, would take my Bronco...

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

Had to look up the answer on their site: Q: Is the E-Stopp weatherproof? A: The motor enclosure is double-layered weatherproof (IP67 rated). The control box is not and should be mounted in the cab or another protected area.

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

I remember you discussing with Highline and it sounds like it’s not a concern of infringement. I don’t have details… I like the spare too…went with an Icon on my build to be done in July. Have had a spare each time.

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

Many people (including me) are adverse to holes in the body…imagine the thought is maybe someday they don’t run a spare. They don’t leave large gaps like other builders. They raise the bumpers or use filler panels in the rear if using aftermarket tire carriers.

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

I don’t think they have done many non new frame builds. They modify the frame rails, but you would know what that means more than I would. I’ve always used spare tire carriers so had to leave rear at stock height and use the filler panels for the gap. The front is the only one that gets modified...

Zero offense taken. Totally get that opinions are like (I forget what body part). :D I don’t know many off the shelf family cages…

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

It’s the Krawler’s Edge cage, which I think many builders use. I think it’s the best looking bolt-in option.

    My Buddy's Highline Classics Build

I have my thread underway, but thought it would be fun for people to follow along as my buddy Steve's second Highline Classics build gets to the end. Steve and I met when I was selling my first build and he recently sold his grey steel-molded 4-speed auto Bronco to have a new build, uncut and...

New Build - Third Time's a Charm - Highline Classics

Went to visit Highline this week to make a couple final decisions. Now anxious for it to get moving and be done in July. [/img]
