Track bar / drag link geometry

Hmm. Unfortunately, I don't have a stock one laying around. The cost of a new stock pitman vs a track bar drop is about the same, so I hate to buy a stock pitman only to find I need to go back to the drop pitman and then have to buy the track bar drop.

Track bar / drag link geometry

Roger that! I know a TRO conversion and riser may be ideal, but I hate throwing $ at something I may never really use. I don't no much about doing the TRO and what all is required? Seems like the TRO conversion will end up costing much more in time and $ than a drop bracket and if there will...

Track bar / drag link geometry

Not really sure if it's an axle truss or what? I've never seen one on another bronco. Seems to be like a skid to save the axle and diff from getting hit. Not really necessary for my street only application. Here's another picture. It bolts to radius arm caps I'll be running 285/70/17 tires...

Track bar / drag link geometry

I don't mean to hijack, but lots of in depth info here and I thought it might be the right place rather than a new thread. My bronco is almost back on the road, so no real word experience with how it handles...yet...soon after a long 2.5 years of a steep learning curve. The lift and front and...

    Roll Cage opinions

I looked around quite a bit and ended up going with a bailie bilt. Seemed to be the best cage for actually providing protection vs looks. I do like the krawlers edge cage, but the front support or lack thereof just didn’t sit well with me. Bailie did mine with out the hump. He’s super...

    Cam suggestion question

Howards Cam recommended this cam for me last year when I called. Not my area of expertise, but may be helpful for your research. This was for a rebuilt 351W, RPM intake, AFR aluminum heads., 4 speed auto. PN: 221145-12 Lift: .544 / .533, Duration @ .050: 219 / 225, Centerline: 108, Good idle...

What have you done to your Bronco today?

Appreciate the insight. I’ve seen the other thread. I’m running a fresh warmed up 351, 4r70w, 4.56 with 33’s and only street driven. No hard core wheeling like @nvrstuk. Torque tamer bolt on seems good but $$$, and I can’t weld so trap wrap isn’t great option either.

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

I just found this post earlier this morning. Good stuff. Front will work perfect this way. Unfortunately I don’t have the rear gussets and i missed the boat on having Gordon weld them in.

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

Are you saying to weld a small tab/bung to the clamp like in the pictures below or just run the clamp as is? I’m wondering if there are enough threads/depth with the clamp as is to work in an accident.

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

Thanks. I’m in the same situation and want adjustability as my boys grow. Looks like this is a good option

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

Did you bolt through the cage or just into one side of the clamp which looks to be about 1/2” of threads?

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

It has a tab for the front seats but seems really high. Those clamps are nice. Maybe a silly question but could I use the threaded inserts in the clamp alone, or would I still need to drill through the cage and use a through bolt and the clamp just re-enforces the drilled portion?

3 Point Seat Belt Mount locations? - Bailie Bilt Cage

Does anyone have pictures of how you've mounted 3 point seat belts to a bailie belt family cage? Or would 4 point's be recommended for the rear which attach to the stock floor location? I have the Toms front/rear seats (headrests) that will be going in. The small kiddos will be in the back...

New Painless Install - Blinker / Flasher Gremlins

Good call. That was your headlight switch right? I actually saw your post about that and checked mine, they look to be correct.

New Painless Install - Blinker / Flasher Gremlins

Good idea. I’ll go back to the normal bulbs and see what I find.

New Painless Install - Blinker / Flasher Gremlins

I’ll do some testing to see exactly under what conditions it’s dim. The turn signal housings aren’t new. Just the LED bulbs. Are you suggesting the painless harness/plug may be wired backwards or have you only seen new housings wired backwards?

New Painless Install - Blinker / Flasher Gremlins

That’s what I thought too. Im using a WH GM column so I had to wire the painless pigtail. checked it over and didn’t see any issues. I’ll circle back and look again with fresh eyes.

New Painless Install - Blinker / Flasher Gremlins

Needs some help here guys. New painless harness installed and I've got a some gremlins. Long post, but I figured the more detail the better. I have new LED bulbs all around with the exception of the headlights. I have installed new LED flashers to account for the low draw of the LED's...
