STUCK IN PARK WONT SHIFT

c4 transmission selector won't shift from park
So, I've disconnected the linkage from the transmission, and the problem is in the steering column. I'm assuming that there is some sort of steering collar that may be damaged? Is there a good breakdown of the steering column somewhere? Thanks again, and would appreciate any advice.- fb111ewo
