You are very right . The only thing that I have really learned about Broncos over the years is that there is no rhyme or reason to any of them.

That is a possibility but it doesnt explain the intake or the Ford report. Like I said this puzzles me because things dont match. The Bronco was prepped sometime for racing or at least very heavy offroading.

The color code on the vin tag is just missing, no code number at all. I have been told that these were just shipped in primer to their destination. I know that ther were a lot of factory hotrods that could be ordered that way so I assume the same holds true for Broncos.

That is good info, thank you. I have been told that a 302HP was really sought after in the mustang world because they were hard to find.

Thank you for the info. I had heard of 302hp but I had never really knew where they went. I am guessing it was a special order from ford then.
