    carb issues

hobbyhorse - it was recently rebuilt professionally. That's why I was surprised when I took it wheelin' the first time. I figured it was something a little bit out of adjustment. It works great the rest of the time.

    carb issues

I have a 77 with a rebuilt stock carb. I assume that it is a 2100?? The thing sucks off road. It's only a touch better than a worthless 2-barrel holley. I can barely even think about going up a decent grade, much less a real hillclimb. It just starts choking and sputtering and blowing...

    motor swap

this is too funny reading this uproar;D I have no intentions whatsoever of putting a Chevy motor in my Bronco...I'd go windsor long before the PITA process of putting different brand motor in my ride. This whole thing centers around a 'wheeling article I found (4-wheel & Off-Road, I think)...

    adapter parts

There's a guy (in Oregon, I believe) that is rumured to have the best prices on np435 to dana 20 adapters. Anyone know his phone number? Thanks! Keith

    motor swap

LOL...nope. I just thought it a little strange to put a GM product in one of fords better rigs. Seems like swapping a 351w would be much easier...maybe a chev in a jeep/toyota, but not a bronc. BTW, the Northstar is a dandy motor for power to weight ratio... lots of wires and crap, though.

    motor swap

This subject should get people riled up;D I was looking for an old article in one of my 4wd mags, and found a different one that gave the finer details of an EB on 38" SXs with all the goodies. The part that I found a bit interesting was the nicely built Chev 350/700r4 combo. I know from...

    np435 swap clutch question

After doing the actual tranny install, what are people doing for the clutch linkage? Using the stock linkage (modified?), or installing a hydraulic clutch setup? Does anyone have a hydraulic clutch setup link besides the one on this board?? Thanks! Keith

    for those with an NP205

those pics cleared it right up. I was just getting an idea how much work it is to set up a Bronco with a 205. I'm just doing my homework and checking all my options before I swap out the 3-speed before too long. Thanks for the info!

    for those with an NP205

I'm just curious...I know many NP435s came mated to np205 t-cases. How difficult is it to fab up a custom crossmember and do the extra work for that particular 'case? Body lifts aren't an issue. Keith

    NP435 adapter

I'm sure this has been hashed many times;D I'm going to be doing an NP435 swap here before too long...and probably going to keep the d20. Does anybody's adapter kit stand out above the rest in quality and ease of installation?? Thanks for any input!

    front diff.

ARB Air Locker. Wide open when it's off, and totally locked up when it's on. Only downsides are the slightly more complicated install and the cost:( Full/lunchbox lockers (detroit, lockright, powertrax, etc.) will promptly put you in the nearest ditch/guardrail/vehicle when it gets good and...

    rearend gear oil change

Doesn't sound too tough...a now 82 year old man owned this one since it was 3 years old, so I tend to have my doubts that any of the gear oil was changed. What is the oil capacity for the rear? How 'bout the front? Thanks for the info! This site is great!
