If you put champion spark plugs in it, I would start there. I have had things run great until it gets hot then problems start.

I saw some fans on some of the bronco suppliers. looks like they would bolt on but do I need the clutch if I go light weight fan?

i have a 351w out of an 84 van. i have 3" clearance between the pully where the fan mounts and the radiator. is this normal clearance? the stock clutch fan won't fit. what options are there?
