    A 6-wheel Land Rover Defender

It does look pretty nice. Here is another article on it. http://truckyeah.jalopnik.com/the-6x6-defender-is-actually-a-full-on-military-grade-z-1689502426

If you're still looking this place sells something. http://www.surcoinc.com/R-Mountingacc.html#RainGutterAdapters I used them on my Rover and they work well.

Safety inspections in Salt Lake City area

Nope. I registered it as a vintage vehicle a couple weeks ago. I should have done it ten years ago and saved all the $$ from inspections and fees. I did like the look of the 1973 plate though since my Bronco is mostly stock but it's cheaper this way.

Safety inspections in Salt Lake City area

Thanks! I have been thinking about this. I really don't want to give up my original issue 1973 license plate for their goofy antique vehicle plate. Though no inspections are pretty tempting. I will probably do it.

Safety inspections in Salt Lake City area

It's that dreaded time of year again. Does anyone in the Salt Lake area know of a good shop for Broncos for safety and emissions inspections? Thanks!

Plastic tanks vs. 23 gallon tank

My Bronco is basically stock also. Last year I put in a TBP 23 gallon and a new poly aux tank. I was on the fence about the 23 gallon for a long time but I'm happy I did it. I do a few trips into the mountains every year and the extra range brings a lot of peace of mind and flexibility.

I don't know what will suck more...

My dad has had and sold several Broncos in his lifetime. Over the last 40 years my brother and I never pass up an opportunity to kindly remind him that we still disapprove. ;D

    Bright lime

This is my 73. It's Bright Lime and it was repainted in the early to mid 90s. It definitely has a subtle green to it especially in artificial light like in parking garages or under street lamps.

    all-terrain tires

Also check out Coopers. Been running these for a while and they have always been good. I've got STs on my Bronco and ATs on my Land Rover. Both have been great.

There's a Jeep in the stable now...

Looks good. I also have been considering a Rubicon to replace my 20 year old Range Rover. Not many options for a new, mostly factory capable 4x4.
