The old girl is doing all of the above. it'll start but when in drive it stutters, spits, backfires or stalls. Need help. Oh, anyone know why the turn signals would go out, fuse is good.

I guess my un-educated guesses aren't too far off. I'll try wiggling the wires first, but I'm leaning towards the float in the carb being the number one problem. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Recently any major jarring to my ride while driving down the road causes it to lose power. I've replaced the plugs, wires, battery cables and coil. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for the help. I think I've found the problem after looking atthis weekend. The ground is good, but the boot that connected it all was loose and dirty. I took a brush to the connectors and cleaned the plug.
I'll see how it works with a fresh tank. Thanks for the help again.
