me thinks you will be getting $139 worth of cooling... of course, someone will get it and it will work for 20 years just fine.

I've been keeping them in mind once I get the 5.0L installed. Will a 2 core unit keep a 5.0L / 302 cool enough? I was looking at their 3 core ones earlier. Anyone's thoughts on the 2 core? Thanks!

The four row with fan for $289 and free shipping looks like a better deal...good find
I was looking at that one the other day. I haven't called them yet to find out if it is available with the hose connections located for an explorer serp/water pump set up.

If they had the reverse one I'd be interested as well. I'd like to get rid of the cross-over setup I have on there now and run shorter hoses.

Does row = core?
If the stock radiator is a 3 core, would the cooling equivalent be the 2 or 3 row aluminum radiator?

When I went to a C4 I used an external cooler. I planned on changing the radiator with one that has an oil cooler. This one fits the budget.

I bought one of these radiators it worked fine for about 3 months and then sprung a leak. I took it out and stopped by the local radiator shop and they would not touch it. They said that there is no way to take it apart because it is completely welded together and if they welded on it they would not guarantee the work. I called another shop and got the same response. Spend the extra money on a brass/cooper radiator as it can be taken apart cleaned and fixed. Regardless I switched out engines now running a 351w and I purchased this radiator off of Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200569000426
It is rock solid very high quality and my temp guage never goes over 190 degrees! I was in stop and go traffic the other day and the needle never got hotter than 190! Needless to say I am very happy with it. Definitely a good idea to pay a little more and get something that can be easily fixed and maintained.

Don't believe the hype. You have to ship it back and they decide whether or not it qualifies for replacement. That is after you pay for the box and shipping it is just not worth it. I want something that can be repaired locally without the hassle.

I was having over heating problems. I bought a 3 core alum radiator on ebay about,,,1 year ago. Had it offroad several times. drove 4 plus hours on highway several times. Never had an over heating problem. Works great.

Just got off the phone with reliable radiator about this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...viewitem=&_trkparms=clkid=6647150727708642366

They (champion) does not currently make that configuration with the top on the passenger side and the bottom on the drivers side.

Edit: I've got an email into BTR inquiring the same question about this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200569000426

Thursday - BTR responded to the email looking for some clarification. The delay in response seems to be me at this point.

Just got the replacement for my original WARPED Champion radiator. It's just as warped as the first one. Looks like they sent the same one back to me or have a serious manufacturing problem. It's to the point I'd be concerned about causing stress on it. If I wasn't so cheap, I'd get my money back and look elsewhere. But it is shiny.
