ive got a 1966 bronco and i had what i believed was death wobble but after fixing every steering problem it still is happening. i noticed while driving infront of it looking back that the drivers side had positive camber... oh was like oh dang i bet the king pins went out! so i jacked it up and sure enough the hub rocks back and forth probably 1/4 inch maybe more... and so tightened the hub bearing to make sure it wasn't just a lose hub bearing... it wasnt. so i took out the top and bottom king pins... and when i took the top one off i was finally able to lift the hub high enough where it wasnt posotive camber anymore but at that point its not lining up with the king pin bearing/bushing... so i put my finger inside the bushing and its extremely lose... it slides around probably 1/3 inch back and forth in all directions...

does this sound like a bad king pin bushing?/bearing? i know dana 30's aren't like normal king pins they have bearings instead of pressed bushings. so i wanted to know if anyone knows if this is the problem?

wild horses 4x4 has the set for each bushging/bearing for about $33 so i figured id order 4 and change them all and ones... what do yall thing? is this a hard thing to do? i know it can be hard to replace 1 ton bushings but looking at this it looks much more easy.. let me know if you have the answer and or any advice thank you!

Worn out King pins, bearings and races definitely cause death wobble.

The hardest part about changing out the parts is installing new races.

Look on Youtube for videos on Dana 30 king pins. you will need a fish scale to get the correct pre load.
