1966 seat belt run?

a brief non-scientific survey of the market revealed to me no source for 1966 bronco seatbelts.

so, i wondered if there is any popular support for a sponsored mass production of 1966 bronco seatbelts.

i do not have full information yet but i will just wag for the sake of saving some initial back and forth that the front and the rear seatbelts are the same: 90 degree angled "ends,", black webbing, 60" long, aircraft latch release, crinkled black plastic latch release covers. any verification of this wag would be appreciated.

cost would imaginably depend heavily on volume. so, i would appreciate a PM if anyone out there is interested. i am about to commission a set for my own restoration.

apologies if this is not the correct forum or no one is interested.

Probably the hardest 66' item to find in good/usable condition imo. Mirrors, seats, horn buttons, horn button rings, eyebrow grills, oil baths and bumpers pop up from time to time, but seat belts hard ever.

Northeast classic ford parts has them or can make them for you.
I was looking as well. Called them and they say they have original webbing and the are sewn just like ford did by someone who they say did that for ford back in the day.
They rechrome your angled mount and do the best they can on the latch. They said the latch cant be taken a part because of the way they were manufactured. At least thats what I remember being told, that was this summer. Great guy to talk to and knowledgible.
Heres the kicker, cost as the best I can remember was i think around $700.00.

Good luck and I may be interested in front belts if you get someting going.

If you didnt know the belts are dated on the back of the latch. Mine were dated july of 65, my Roadster was built in Sept of 65.

same belts were used in the f100, and maybe others. I'm not sure if they had the angled mount or not. worth looking into

Mine don't have an aircraft latch, just the regular button like all the other Fords from the era. Mine are also date coded on the back, 9 / 65.

Pickup belts dont have the angled floor mount. Cant say Ive ever seen belts with a button on a 66 Bronco, might be from a car. Just sayin not trying to start a argument. If I hadnt found a replacement for mine I was going to buy webbing and have a local upholstry shop sew new ones.

My mistake, your correct, they do have the aircraft style latch. I even got the date code mixed up, they are 7 /65.

I have a late 50's ford I put belts in fairly recent, I was probably thinking of it.
