• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Off-road lights included, but not installed on the vehicle currently.
Frame is straight and rust free. Under body is painted.
Body is fully painted and rust free, but body is not perfect. There is evidence of rust repair and bondo on the driver side rocker panel as well as the tailgate.
Hardtop does show some rust in the gutters and the paint looks to be original from 1968. The headliner is also missing from the hard top.
Electrical and 5.0 installation was done prior to "painless wiring harness" availability so the fuses and wiring is all from the original Bronco and the Mustang. The entire vehicle could use a "rewire" although I've been driving it for 20 years this way and it seems to work, I'd still recommend this get upgraded.

For pictures and additional information see. (link removed....)

If you need a picture of something I missed feel free to ask.

Note: I was a car dealer, but no longer am. I still have the website, so I thought I'd put it to use, but this is a private party sale, not a dealer!

Any comments? Price, Condition or other questions. I'm just curious as to why there have been very few views or comments to my listing.

I had it listed on eBay as well as here, and it did gather a little bit of interest, but I'm curious about whether the folks here think the price is right. It is really hard to gauge because there is such a wide range of sales price. I took it to Wild Horses and had a few guys there do a quick estimate of what they thought it was worth, and that is where I came up with the price I have listed right now. I just priced it in the middle of the estimates I received from them as well as my guess.

What do you all think I should be asking, even if you are not in the market? If you were a buyer or seller, what price would you put on this car...again I understand it is really hard to tell from photos, and it is going to be hard to find a local buyer, but I'm trying.

You can probably tell, the car is not a show car, but it does run very well and I've been driving it like this for the past 15-20 years (bought it in 1989 and did all of the upgrades in 89-93). It really could do with a makeover. The wiring harness and fuse boxes for sure could use an update, and there are lots of potential projects that could be done to this rig, but it is an awesome starting point Bronco as one of the guys at Wild Horses mentioned to me.

I'm planning on re-listing on eBay, but I will probably make some adjustments to the ad based on feedback from the folks here.

Thanks,

Probably a tad high for this crowd.

What is a tad high? "tad" is sort of subjective. If you were listing it how much would you ask...or if you were buying how much would you pay? Anyhow point taken about my asking price, and I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for your reply.

IMHO looks unfinished and in fair condition, it needs a good detailing. Here I have seen some sell in the 9-13k range and really nice for 15-18k (good example here at http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=202370. You will likely get a little more from a non-CB member.

There does seem to be a bunch of crazy high $30-50k ones listed recently so that may help if they find your's more reasonable.

If this offends, I will delete.

How do you perform a price change on this forum? I was able to change the body text, and I found that going advanced allowed me to change the title of the thread and also the location (state) of the vehicle, but nowhere is there a place to change the price...that I can find. Is this a bug in the forum or operator error (me)?

My observations are that people on this forum are much more educated and looking for a deal. I've noticed folks get pretty deep into a project around here and then dump them for whatever reason. So, most guys here are looking to pick up a steal rather than pay what it may be worth. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is very hard to get your money back out. Also most fools around here will want to make upgrades and they will factor that into what they are willing to pay. I'd say between 12k and 14k is reasonable for a quick sale, but you may get more on the open market. New restorations will bring more money than one with years of use on the upgrades. Good luck. I hope you get every penny out of it. I personally feel that these rigs are under valued but the market is what it is.

Thanks, I've listed it here for $13,500 but I'm keeping the listing at $14k on my other posts right now.

I still have not received an answer as to how to change the price on this listing, so I changed the title...now its a little confusing, but the best I can do.

Bump again. It has been a busy summer. I moved to Sacramento and it has been a busy food processing season which keeps me busy.

Anyhow, time to put the Bronco back up on the sales block, now that I have time again.

ok, the car has been off the market for a while, and before everyone purchases their spring projects, I thought I'd bump this thread and offer my vehicle up for sale again. Thanks.

Ok, new lower price. Dropped it to $10,000 for Classic Bronco site only. Still advertising $12k elsewhere. Somebody here must want a new project. This is a perfect starting point for a project as most everything it already here, just needs to be refreshed.

The Bronco is SOLD.....thanks.
