• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hey all, I'm looking for a red 68 wagon. U15, can be sport or not, prefer Sport, and has to be uncut. Needs to be 68. Let me know what you have.

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks guys. Saw that. Looks like I should go see it. Big ol gap on LH side of tailgate...we'll see.

I went and took a look a week ago. It runs & drives nice. Shifted well, drove straight down the road. Seemed a little under powered, but I don't know what to expect from a new 289. Plus I don't want to flog other peoples 40+ year old vehicles.

I'm not a bronco expert in anyway, but there's a fair amount of minor detail work to be done to get it to really shine.

I did not test the four wheel drive (the plastic mount for the transfer case shifter was broken). The transfer case itself was the dirtiest part of the car. :)

The current owner had done a lot of work to get it to drive & run properly (new gas tanks, power steering, power brakes, etc...). The previous owner had done the paint job.

I'd be interested in your opinion. The truck had a lot of rattles, which seemed to be more fit & finish issues with tailgate, doors, top, etc...

I didn't do a thorough check on the exterior paint. I was bummed that the previous owner repainted the engine bay without much prep work. Those kind of details tend to make me wonder about the rest of the paint & bodywork.

I'm passing on it for now. However the owner (Mark) was nice & I hope someone buys it to finish up the restoration on it.

I think the paint is the biggest turnoff for me when I look at the pics. Very unfortunate that they painted the dash, pedal assembly, engine compartment wiring, etc. Not that it isn't fixable, just a PITA to do...

YEah, I wont even go look I think. For someone it'll be great, but it's not what I'm looking for at all. There's even overspray on the door straps.....
