This is a great way to get your project Bronco and nearly all the upgrade parts and all of the work already done for free!

I have an unfinished customers project rig here that he wants to sell. We installed the suspension and swapped in a rebuilt disc brake Dana 44 and some other work and test drove it, then the owner wanted to do a motor and trans swap and some other mods and lost interest after were had pulled the motor and trans.

If your are seriously interested in it, send me a PM and I will get more detailed pics and descriptions of what has been done and needs to be done to put it back on the road and anything else I think it may need.

I could deliver it to the Bronco swapmeet in Hudsonville, MI or to the Bronco Driver show in TN, but it will have to be paid for before I load it in order for me to take up the space I have reserved for parts to sell. I would drop the motor in place to transport it and will have power of attorney to sign over the title.

If anyone is seriously interested, send me a PM

1970 Sport

5.5" CAGE coils, leafs and long arms

35x12.50x15 AT tires with 95% tread on aluminum modular wheels.

Fresh rebuilt Dana 44 swaped in (new bearings, seals, ball joints, calipers, pads, etc. housing sandblasted and painted with PPG epoxy, CAGE long arms with coils and leafs, and a bunch of other new stuff.

He lost interest in it before we finished it.

302 is pulled and on a stand in my shop. Ran fine, but had a few minor leaks so we were going to reseal it, then decided to do a crate motor.

Had a toploader 4 speed, but I have a C4 with it now that was going to go back in.

Body looks pretty solid, but the carpet needs pulled up to check further. I think it will need front floor pans. Quarter seams look pretty nice.

Could be a fairly easy one to finish off and has some good items recently installed or in boxes ready to install.

New parts in boxes:
Bronco script valve covers
Radiator fan guard
Aluminum radiator anode radiator cap
upper, lower and bypass hoses
poly t-case mounts and snubber
t-case seal kiit
motor plate and flexplate
C4 dipstiick with lever lock cap
twin stick and boot
Flow lKooler water pump
Magnafine in-line trans filter
WH extreme driveshaft with super flex joint

I would have to look to see if we had that C4 rebuilt yet or not. I had a few done around the same time and I can not recall for sure it that was one. it looks pretty clean, so it might have been one of the ones we had done.

It also has one of my heavy duty DOM steering systems and trac bar on it and a 23 gallon tank.

It has sat outside for the last 2-3 years since he lost interest in it, so there is some rust on some of the new hardware and the chrome on the CAGE shock shafts is rusted, so they will likely need replaced.

I have a detailed spreadsheet with over $6000 in new parts and $3,700 in labor done on it so far in addition to the $10K the customer bought the Bronco for and then had it shipped in from TX back in 2008.

I had planned on taking it with my load of parts to sell at next months swap meet in MI and down to the Bronco Driver show in TN.

Also have the Hurst shifter and fiberglass tunnel bubble.

PM me a fair offer on it.

Here are some more pics I took today:

Divers floor pan is fairly solid overall, but is rusted where it meets the angled firewall behind the pedals. Could be replaced or nicely patched at joint.

Section under seat looks solid, maybe a small spot patch or two needed.

Wheel housing extension behind drivers seat where roll bar is bolted looks real solid.

Rear wheel housing extension panel also looked real good (has undercoating which is what is flaking a bit).

Windshield frame has some small sections with bubbles on both lower corners. I have repaired several of these with flush patches which had much more extensive rust than what this looks like. Should not be a tough repair.

Tailgate does not show any signs of rust that I saw along the bottom, but I'm suspecing there is some filler in there. I would have to probe a bit more or sand a spot or pick at it.

Rockers feel solid and did not seem to have been had filler to hide anything, but drivers side does have some small bubbles.

Roll bar with shoulder belts

Drivers fender has open hole from missing antenna. It also appears to have had another hold in front of that. Odd place for a rust hole and the rest of the fender seems good. It is also an odd place to mount something else? The hole was filled and the filler is cracked. If the rest of the fender is as solid as it appears, filling the hole properly would be an easy fix.

More pics.....

CAGE 5.5" coils and F-250 upper shock mounts. Chrome on CAGE shocks is rusted from sitting and not being used, so they will likely need replaced.

New WH DOT approved caliper hoses and axle-frame hoses

Some of my Broncitis parts: Steering linkage and trac bar and trac bar frame mount support.

Door and striker posts look clean and feel solid. Drivers door had almost no play in hinges or post when I lifted on it.

Bronco C4 for the swap. Bell housing and other parts also included.

I need to verify the gearing further. The tag on the rear says 4.11.

I think when we built the front we might have done 4.30's (my preferred gears for 35" tires on a street rig) and did not swap out the rears yet. It has been 4+ years since we did that and I can not recall offhand for sure.
