I have for sale a 1973 bronco. This is definitely a big project. I've posted photos below to show condition. This bronco does have a clean SC title in my name with matching vins. I also have a marti report for this Bronco. The frame is in overall good condition, it will need some repair to the horns and body mounting tabs. I could not find any other areas where the frame was rotten/needed replacing. The body and frame were recently sandblasted and I threw a light coat of an epoxy primer on the body and some cheap black primer on the frame to prevent flash rust. I was hoping to make the truck a trail rig but priorities have changed and I won't have as much time or the facilities to work on it in the near future. I do not have the original engine, it was a v8 truck according to Marti report and has the correct mounts. I have the original 3 speed transmission, dana 20 and rear drive shaft. The ford 9 inch and Dana 44 are in good condition.
I think this body could be saved by someone with more experience than myself. It may not be a show truck but I know a lot of people that have started with less. I cut out a lot of the rusty metal on the body but there is still some that will need to go. The quarters were removed and are ready to be replaced. The floor pan in the back needs some attention, there are several areas with small pinholes. The rear wheel tubs are in ok condition, 2 of the 4 rear floor pan extensions will need replacing. This would be a great candidate for a 1 piece floor pan. There is rust on the bottom 12 inches of the a pillars and kick panels. I cut out the front of the a pillars, the insides were sand blasted and epoxy coated. The b pillars and upper quarters are in good condition, no pinholes. The cowl and firewall are in decent condition, some small spots to address. The driver and passenger fender aprons are in good condition, could be saved. The radiator support looks ok, will need some spots addressed as well. I have the original dash, grill, and fenders. They all look pretty rough and are likely not usable but will be included with sale. It's rolling on a set of steel rims with 33x12.50.15 tires. They hold air and probably have some life left. I have the original steel wheels which will be included with sale as well.
I'm hoping to get out of it what I paid for it. Make me an offer
