After nearly 10 long years, I’ve got Bronco number six!
I didn’t realize how much I missed the community, camaraderie, and friendship at this place brings.

I was able to purchase this one from fatboy and I plan on getting it running and driving very soon. I suppose this makes me the village idiot now.

Here are a couple of pictures, I’ll update this thread as I make progress.

Special thanks to tasker for helping me get back into the Bronco world.

Or other people that may have worked on it too......😁

Congrats, will be following along for the updates. On pages one and three of my thread here there's some more pictures of it from when I had it in to do some work on it for fatboy.

B, I told him about all the great stuff you did on it. I did not specify that the bumpers and rockers are your design and manufacture though.

Oh heck yeah Brian!! Apologies for not including you on the list. Your work on the bumpers, sliders, steering and axles (and other things that I’m likely not yet aware of) are certainly appreciated! It’s great to know that so many awesome folks here I’ve had a hand on this rig. That’s one of the main reasons I was drawn to it.

I will make it to May it forward!!!!

Today’s goal is just to go through everything and document what I have. Try to start at stage zero.

Got a lot done today.
Cleaned everything really well and started going through everything from front to back. Starting to document a list of everything I need.

I did pull the plugs and oiled the cylinders and got it to turn over nicely!

And my intern was able to clean out the interior and get the seats looking brand new again

You should have the original boot in that blue tote. And a battery tray at least.

Yes. I can use that tray. The boot is in decent condition. It’s got a couple of hole holes in it.

Slow progress today, but put in new plugs and could not get it to fire up yet. No spark. I need a new coil. Have one on order. We’ll get that tomorrow. I did install the new cap and rotor that Pete supplied me, thanks Pete!

Realized I have a manual choke on the carb with no linkage so ordered that too.

Got most of the plumbing done for the new gas tank

Ordered a bunch of small pieces for fuel related stuff.

Hopefully, we’ll have it running by Monday

Still pretty grimy under here, but we’re making slow progress on cleaning things as we go as well. I’m quite sure the power steering is the culprit for the majority of the leaks.
